Brian’s major achievement was to produce a programme which modernised our simple membership database into a comprehensive administrative package. This programme called “SNAP” enabled records to be maintained of all members’ details, subscription payments, classes attended and invoices to the Federation for grants related to the tutorial hours.

The SNAP programme was so successful that it was demonstrated to the SeniorNet Federation which recommended its application to other SeniorNet societies. As a result many SeniorNets adopted this programme and wrote in glowing terms of the work undertaken in producing this quality aid to their administration.

In appreciation of Brian’s services to SeniorNet Hutt City Inc, he was awarded Honorary Membership at the Annual General Meeting in 2011.
