Bio - Bill Beard

I spent 38 years employed by New Zealand Railways before taking early retirement. This was followed by 10 years as Secretary of the Lower Hutt Memorial RSA.

I had slight involvement with computers towards the end of this time. The first course I attended at SeniorNet was in 2005. I went on to become an assistant tutor and was elected to the Committee in 2011 and became treasurer in 2012.

My other interest is Lawn Bowls and this together with SeniorNet keeps me quite busy.

An automated series of commands or options can be run at any time. Handy if you often need to perform the same list of actions. You are most likely to use these in either a word processor or a graphics manipulation programme to perform repetitive steps.
